Building a Log Home is a very exciting choice!  I am looking forward to helping you build your dream home.  Creating a Log home usually requires a lot of decision making because most people strive to create a home that reflects their individual desires.  Therefore, each part of the home will require you to make choices or suggestions.  I am very open to any idea or suggestion you may want for your home.  I will always be available to answer questions or provide resources of information. 

As the owner and President of Custom Craft Carpentry, Inc. I have been building Log Homes since 1992, and in the home remodeling business for many more years.  I have built both ultra-Log (half log) and full Log homes from several different companies.  My company is not a huge company that builds 10 to 20 homes per year.  I try to build about 2 or 3 high quality homes per year.  I have limited myself because most people that contract me to build their home like the ‘personal’ attention I provide.  I am on the construction site every day building with my small crew, not just stopping by to check on their progress.   I have discovered that most homeowners like coming to see me at the site of their new home to ask questions or discuss the progress.
I like to use the same subcontractors on each new home.  I have worked very hard to build a good relationship with the subcontractors that I hire.  This relationship provides excellent service during construction, good prices, and continued service after the home is complete.  Once I have submitted my preliminary proposal, we can discuss the subcontractors and make other arrangements if necessary.

I am an independent builder of log homes.  Therefore, I am free to build any log package that you would choose.  I am able to provide contacts at several quality log home suppliers, please let me know if you would like further information.  I am familiar with many log home companies’ building styles.  And I have many tools that allow for as much customization as you would need.  I have a portable saw mill with my own set up that can handle full logs or half logs for special cuts.
I have enclosed a past client list and a business/contractor list of references for your information.  The list contains each client’s name, location, type of logs used, and the company that provided the materials.  Please feel free to drive by the homes that may be convenient to you.  However, if you would like to see inside the homes, please make arrangements prior to visiting the client.  I hope this will help you feel comfortable and confident in my company and craftsmanship.  Please note that some telephone numbers have not been listed for privacy reasons.  However, I can contact anyone on the list and make arrangements for you to view their home.
